we are in the mine when the phone rings and messages are not checked
until
the day is done. So be sure and stop by or call the Idaho Springs
Visitors
Center if you need to know if we are open before you come up. We leave
word with them daily if we are to be closed for that day or any length

are checked at least once daily by 7 AM, unless there are power issues
or internet connection outages you will be answered with in 24 hours on
weekdays. Occasionally we are out for the weekend and inquiries may not
be answered before Monday morning. If it is important to reach us
